Renewable energies

Environmental protection and the development of renewable energies are now essential in the field of climate control engineering. Thermor has therefore chosen to intensify its efforts in this area by offering you solar solutions and heat pump water heater
How does solar energy work ?
Solar energy is a natural auxiliary energy that is:
- silent and non-polluting (no impact on the environment)
- free and economical
- easily usable for lasting thermal comfort in both summer and winter with, if necessary, extra heating from another energy source: electricity, gas or fuel.
Solar energy can be used in both northern and southern countries (e.g. Sweden, Great Britain, Germany, France including its overseas departments and territories, Spain, Italy, Eastern Europe, the Maghreb, etc.). The installation will be adapted to the insolation and construction practices.
Operation: Solar collectors absorb the solar energy and transmit it to a coolant fluid that heats a storage tank. The system is regulated, safe and optimised by the solar station that contains the intelligence for the system.
Solar solutions :
Thermor proposes 2 solutions:
- Solar indirect water heaters that can be adapted to systems on the market (panels and regulation).
- Complete BIOPACK solar packs: colllector pack + indirect water heater pack with a comprehensive solar station that is easy to install and highly efficient.
How does heat pump work ?
A heat pump is a thermodynamic machine
that takes heat from the outside (air and ground) to transfer it using a
compressor to heat or cool the home, and produce hot water.
The heat pump only consumes the electricity required to operate the compressor and its accessories. This is why its requirements are 3 to 4 times lower than the energy its recovers.
The Coefficient of Performance (COP) measures the ratio between the energy supplied and the energy used: for instance, a heat pump with a COP of 3 will consume 1 kWh of electricity and supply 3 kWh for the heating system.
Heat pumps enable savings of up to 70% on a heating bill. In comparison with a fuel oil boiler, heat pumps can reduce CO2 emissions by more than 70%.

What is thermodynamism?
Thermodynamism
is a closed and waterproofed circuit in which a refrigerant fluid in
its liquid or gaseous state circulates according to the elements through
which it has to flow.
